Happy Memorial Day Monday, Otter Fam! 

1. No practice Monday for the holiday. 

2. New swimmer assessment Wednesday 5/31 at 5pm. We will also have in-person registrations at this date and time and welcome any previous season swimmers included in this email to attend as there are new requirements for swim team sign ups this year and we are happy to help get your athlete registered. 

3. Reminder to please fill out the photo release form on Google. Super quick, just parent/guardian name & swimmer(s) name.

4. Please log in to SwimTopia, click on "Swim Meets & Jobs" and sign up for parent volunteer hours. 20 hours per family and fireworks booth shifts count as DOUBLE hours. https://orlandotters.swimtopia.com/  

5. Please RSVP for the Otter-O-Thon on SwimTopia, which is on June 19th this year.

7. OFFICIAL TRAINING- Officials are present at all invitational competitions to implement the technical rules of swimming and to ensure that the competition is fair and equitable to everyone. Otters are looking for at least 4 parents who are interested in joining Julie Champagne-Meredyk and Lindsay Reimers to become Officials for our Otters team. Durham will be hosting a clinic in the near future for any new or recertification Officials. The clinic is a requirement prior to attending 10 sessions to become an Official for our team in the future. Please see Julie and/or Lindsay for more information. Our athletes need your support to continue to thrive at the weekend swim meets, which we are required to bring our own Officials. The Otters are so grateful to Julie & Lindsay for their unyielding support for all our kiddos. 

8. RETURNING swimmer practice times remain: 

Minis/Reds: 330-415pm 

Whites: 330-430pm 

Blues/Seniors: 415-530pm.
