1. LAST new swimmer assessment is this Wednesday 6/7 @ 5pm.If you were unable to bring your new swimmer to the previous 3 new swimmer assessments and not available this week, please email us as soon as possible to make another arrangement so that your athlete may begin practice on Monday June 12 with the whole team. 

 2. Regular season morning practice for all Otters begins Monday 6/12. 

Seniors: 730-945am 

Blues: 8-945am 

Whites: 830-10am 

Reds: 930-1045am 

Minis: 945-1045am 

Otters must clear the pool by 11am for City of Orland private swim lessons. If you're a new swimmer family and unsure of what group you are in, please arrive at the Minis time and Coach Tim will evaluate where your swimmer will thrive for a possible change for the remainder of the week.

3. Please join us next Monday 6/12 at 7pm for our 1st Lawn Meeting! Lawn Meetings are open to all swim parents/guardians, just bring your own fold up chair and drink to stay hydrated. We meet on the lawn at the front of the entrance to the pool in the shade on the grass closer to the OHS football stadium parking lot. The Otter Board will address upcoming events and answer any questions for the week/season. We meet every Monday at 7pm except for 6/19 (Otter O Thon) for our swim season. While the parents meet, there will be an additional 7pm Stroke & Turn practice for Whites/Blues/Seniors only. We hope to see you at our 1st Lawn Meeting to go over our Otter O Thon fundraiser and discuss our 1st Blue & White Dual Meet scheduled for Wednesday, 6/14.

5. Returning swimmers practice times remain the same this week, and we understand if your family cannot attend due to graduations happening this week. We are happy to see you when you are able to make it, Congrats to 2023 graduates! 

6. Board Members Ruby Neumann and Lisa Reimers are the Co-Meet Directors for our home Otter Space Invitational for July 8 & 9. We are looking for VENDORS who would like to participate for both days, where 350+ athletes from Northern CA and their families will be in Orland all weekend for this awesome swim meet. Please email for a vendor application, as we are going to limit duplicate vendors with similar merchandise. 

7. Reminder to log in to SwimTopia to sign up for jobs for our Otter Invitational, team work makes the dream work! Lots of parents hours available to have our big home swim meet.
