1. THANK YOU, OTTER SQUAD for a phenomenal weekend hosting our Otter Space Invitational. Most Otter parents/volunteers took double and triple volunteer shifts and we appreciate every minute of your time making this such a special meet for not just our 81 otters but all 21 teams in attendance. Everything went so smoothly and we lost count how many times we were told by swimmers/parents/coaches/officials that this is their FAVORITE meet everrrr! 370 swimmers on Saturday with 1,177 swims and 359 swimmers on Sunday with 1,076 swims. Orland Otters won 1st Place in team points! 2nd place to Durham Dolphins and 3rd went to Lassen Volcanoes.

2. OROVILLE DUAL MEET sign ups close Tuesday at 11:59pm. Please sign up on SwimTopia! This is our last home meet! Willows will also join. There are 19 jobs still open and not very many opportunities left to fulfill those 20 parent hours for those who were not able to make the Invitational. 

3. Please sign up for the PLUMAS INVITATIONAL to be held 7/15 & 16 before the deadline Wed 7/12 (or sooner if max capacity). We will discuss team dinner POTLUCK for Friday and Saturday night up in Quincy at the lawn meeting. Ome.swimconnection.com

6. NVALS are in Redding July 28-30 and filling up fast. Please sign up asap and let me know your child's t shirt size if attending. The Otters board will get each NVAL swimmer a t-shirt in their championship swag bag. We need these tshirt orders by this Friday please. 

7. All In Vinyl will have only 48 ROSTERS from Otter Invitational that arrived late to add to the back of Otter Space shirts/sweatshirts. If you would like to add the roster, please attend the Lawn Meeting tomorrow where Julie will have updated info. 

8. As you well know by now, you've got a dedicated board of super momma planners and we would LOVE your suggestions for the 2024 Invitational theme! Please fill out this google doc with your swimmers suggestion and we will VOTE on the top ideas at the end of year awards banquet on August 2nd at dinner. Here's the form:

9.  We are pleased to announce we had our very 1st 50/50 Raffle for the Olivia Rodgers Memorial Fund at our Invitational this weekend and were able to raise $1,355 for a water safety program in our sweet girls name for the Rodgers family.

10. Otter Trivia for tomorrow: What year was the Otter Swim team first founded??
